TKDM2 series Moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB)

TKDM2 series Moulded-case circuit-breaker (MCCB) (hereinafter referred to as Circuit-breaker) is suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with a rated insulation voltage of 1000V and a rated voltage of 400V, rated working current up to 800A. It is generally used for power distribution, protecting lines and power equipment from damage caused by overloads, short circuits, and undervoltage faults. Circuit-breakers with a rated current of 800A or less can also be used for motor protection in locations with infrequent switching and motor starting.

Scope of Application and Main Features

The TKDM2 series Moulded-case circuit-breaker (MCCB) (hereinafter referred to as Circuit-breaker) is suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with a rated insulation voltage of 1000V and a rated voltage of 400V. It is used for power distribution with rated working currents up to 800A, protecting lines and power equipment from damage caused by overloads, short circuits, and undervoltage. Circuit-breakers with rated currents of 800A or less can also be used for motor protection in locations with infrequent switching and motor starting.

This series of Circuit-breakers features a compact structure, small size, high breaking capacity, and complete internal and external accessories.

Operating and Installation Conditions

The ambient air temperature should not exceed +40℃, and the average temperature over 24 hours should not exceed +35℃. The lower limit of the ambient air temperature is -5℃; Note: For operating conditions where the ambient air temperature is higher than +40℃ or lower than -5℃, users should consult the manufacturer;

The installation altitude should not exceed 2000m;

At a maximum temperature of +40℃, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures, for example, 90% at 20℃. Special measures should be taken for condensation occasionally caused by temperature changes;

The installation location should be free from explosive media and gases or conductive dust that could corrode metal or damage insulation;

The installation location should be protected from rain and snow;

Pollution degree: Level 3;

Installation category: The installation category for the main circuit of the Circuit-breaker is Ⅲ, and the installation category for auxiliary and control circuits not connected to the main circuit is Ⅱ;

The Circuit-breaker should be installed and used according to the requirements of the product manual;
