TKDM3 series Moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) (hereinafter referred to as Circuit breaker) is suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with a rated insulation voltage of 1000V and a rated voltage of 690V or less, and a rated working current up to 800A. It is generally used for power distribution, protecting lines and power equipment from damage caused by overloads, short circuits, and undervoltage faults. It can also be used for motor protection in locations with infrequent switching and motor starting.

Scope of Application and Main Features

The TKDM3 series Moulded-case circuit-breaker (MCCB) (hereinafter referred to as Circuit-breaker) is suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with a rated insulation voltage of 1000V and a rated voltage of 690V or less, and a rated working current up to 800A. It is generally used for power distribution, protecting lines and power equipment from damage caused by overloads, short circuits, and undervoltage faults. It can also be used for motor protection in locations with infrequent line switching and motor starting.

This series of Circuit-breakers features a compact structure, small size, high breaking capacity, and complete internal and external accessories.

This series of Circuit-breakers has an isolation function, and its corresponding symbol is:

Accessories can be quickly installed using a boxed, modular method without removing the main cover. User requirements can be responded to promptly without adjustment.

Operating and Installation Conditions

The ambient air temperature should not exceed +40℃, and the average temperature over 24 hours should not exceed +35℃. The lower limit of the ambient air temperature is -5℃; Note: For operating conditions where the ambient air temperature is higher than +40℃ or lower than -5℃, users should consult the manufacturer;

The installation altitude should not exceed 2000m;

At a maximum temperature of +40℃, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures, for example, 90% at 20°C. Special measures should be taken for condensation occasionally caused by temperature changes;

The installation location should be free from explosive media, corrosive gases or conductive dust that could damage metal or insulation, and free from rain and snow;

Pollution degree: Class 3;

Installation category: The installation category for the main circuit of the Circuit-breaker is Ⅲ, and the installation category for the auxiliary and control circuits not connected to the main circuit is Ⅱ;

The Circuit-breaker should be installed and used according to the requirements of the Product Manual: Note: The TKDM3 series moulded case circuit breaker generally has top-in and bottom-out wiring (i.e., 1, 3, 5 are the power terminals, and 2, 4, 6 are the load terminals). When the breaking level code is M and the working voltage is AC400V, it can be connected with reverse wiring for power distribution systems;
