The TKDM3E series electronic moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) (hereinafter referred to as Circuit-breaker) is suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with a rated insulation voltage of 1000V and a rated voltage of 690V or less, and a rated working current of up to 800A. It is generally used for power distribution, distributing electrical energy, and protecting lines and power equipment from damage caused by overloads, short circuits, and undervoltages. It is used in places with infrequent line switching and infrequent motor starting. The Circuit-breaker has functions such as overload long-delay inverse time, short-circuit short-delay inverse time, short-circuit short-delay time-limit, short-circuit instantaneous, and ground protection.

Scope of Application and Main Features

The TKDM3E series electronic moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) (hereinafter referred to as Circuit-breaker) is suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with a rated insulation voltage of 1000V, rated voltage of 690V or less, and a rated working current of up to 800A. It is generally used for power distribution, protecting lines and power equipment from damage caused by overloads, short circuits, and undervoltage faults. It is used in locations with infrequent line switching and infrequent motor starting. The Circuit-breaker has functions such as overload long-delay inverse time, short-circuit short-delay inverse time, short-circuit short-delay definite time, short-circuit instantaneous, and ground fault protection.

This series of Circuit-breakers features a compact structure, small size, high breaking capacity, and complete internal and external accessories.

Operating and Installation Conditions

The upper limit of the ambient air temperature is +40℃, and the 24-hour average value does not exceed +35℃; the lower limit of the ambient air temperature is -5℃. Note: For operating conditions where the ambient air temperature is higher than +40℃ or lower than -5℃, users should consult with our company.

The installation altitude does not exceed 2000m.

When the highest temperature is +40℃, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%; higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, for example, 90% at 20℃. Special measures should be taken for condensation occasionally caused by temperature changes.

In places where there are no explosive media in the air and no gases or conductive dust that can corrode metals and damage insulation.

Places free from rain and snow.

Pollution degree is level 3.

The maximum inclination angle for Circuit-breaker installation is ±22.5°.

Installation category: The installation category of the main circuit of the Circuit-breaker is Ⅲ, and the installation category of the auxiliary circuit and control circuit not connected to the main circuit is Ⅱ.

The Circuit-breaker should be installed and used according to the requirements of the product manual: Note: The TKDM3E series electronic moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) generally has top-in and bottom-out wiring (i.e., 1, 3, 5 are the power terminals, and 2, 4, 6 are the load terminals). When the breaking level code is M, the working voltage is AC400V, and it is used in a power distribution system, reverse wiring connection is allowed.
