The TKEL5R series residual current circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as Circuit-breaker) is a newly developed external Moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) for electricity meters. It is suitable for the State Grid and Southern Grid electricity information collection and management systems. Based on the user's electricity account balance, the prepaid electricity meter controls the on/off status of the Circuit-breaker. The rated insulation voltage of the circuit breaker is 1000V, suitable for 50Hz AC, rated voltage of 440V and below, rated control voltage of 220V, and rated current of 400A and below circuits.

The TKEL5R series residual current operated circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as circuit breaker) is a newly developed external moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) for electricity meters. Based on the user's electricity account balance, it controls the on/off state of the circuit breaker through a prepaid electricity meter. The rated insulation voltage of the circuit breaker is 1000V, suitable for 50Hz AC, rated voltage of 440V and below, rated control voltage of 220V, and rated current of 400A and below circuits.

Normal and Installation Conditions

Ambient air temperature: -20℃~+40℃, average temperature not exceeding +35℃. For use in environments with average temperatures above +35℃ or below -20℃, please consult the manufacturer.

The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m. For high-altitude areas, the derating coefficient table should be used for calculation.

At a maximum temperature of +40℃, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 50%; higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures, e.g., 90% at 20℃.

Installation category: The main circuit installation category for the circuit breaker is Ⅲ, and the installation category for the auxiliary and control circuits is Ⅱ.

Product Features

Multi-functional It has residual current, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection functions. It also includes practical functions such as automatic reclosing, residual current display, real-time load current display, operating status indication, and trip data display. The product can also be equipped with a pluggable lightning protection module, remote control functions, and a dedicated adapter.

Compact Size The combination of electric operating mechanism and air circuit breaker (ACB) is integrated into a single unit. This reduces the installation space and simplifies wiring. It has an operating method with configurable functional characteristics, allowing for the setting of operating current, tripping time, and main circuit current according to actual needs.

Intelligent The intelligent control circuit consists of a single-chip microprocessor, which can set and display the load current, monitor the cause of fault tripping, and display the fault parameters at the time of tripping. The total number of various fault trips can be queried.

Communicable (Optional) The communication type leakage circuit breaker can record and query detailed data such as the phase sequence, cause, and time of tripping. It has a historical data recording function. The communication type series products use an RS-485 communication port and offer various communication protocols to choose from. They can communicate with intelligent transformer substations, host computers, etc., to achieve remote parameter adjustment, information query, and fault parameter download.
