Scope of Application

The TKDQ1 series automatic transfer switch is suitable for two-way power supply systems with a rated voltage of AC400V, a frequency of 50Hz, and a rated working current of up to 800A. Operating and Installation Conditions

The ambient air temperature should not exceed +40℃, and the 24-hour average should not exceed +35℃. The lower limit of the ambient air temperature is -5℃; Note: For operating conditions where the ambient air temperature is higher than +40℃ or lower than -5℃, users should consult with our company;

The installation altitude should not exceed 2000m;

When the highest temperature is +40℃, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, for example, 90% at 20℃. Special measures should be taken for occasional condensation due to temperature changes;

The installation location should be free from explosive media in the air and free from gases and conductive dust that can corrode metals and damage insulation; no rain or snow;

Pollution degree is level 3;

The maximum inclination of the circuit-breaker installation is ±22.5°;

Installation category: The installation category of the main circuit of the circuit-breaker is III, and the installation category of the auxiliary circuit and control circuit not connected to the main circuit is II;

Product Structural Features

The TKDQ1 series dual-power automatic transfer switch consists of two TKDM series Moulded-case circuit-breakers (MCCBs) (three-pole or four-pole), their accessories, a mechanical interlocking transmission mechanism, an intelligent controller, etc. The product is available in integral and split structures.

There is a reliable mechanical interlocking device and electrical interlocking protection between the two circuit-breakers, eliminating the possibility of both circuit-breakers closing at the same time;

It has short-circuit and overload protection functions, as well as overvoltage, undervoltage, and phase-loss automatic transfer functions;

The intelligent controller uses a single-chip microcomputer for control, with a simple design, complete functions, and high reliability;

The controller circuit design adopts power sampling and single-chip microcomputer control separation, eliminating electromagnetic interference from the structural design;

The controller of the integral automatic transfer switch can be removed and installed on the switchgear panel for split installation, only needing to connect the controller and the main unit with a 2-meter-long signal cable;

The transfer switch has three different control functions: self-starting and self-restoring (R), self-starting but not self-restoring (S), and grid-generator (F), suitable for grid-grid power distribution systems and grid-generator power distribution systems, respectively;

Protection parameters such as switch transfer delay time and over/undervoltage protection action values can be freely set externally to meet the requirements of different locations;
